Having over 30 years experience in the London market I have been lucky enough to use a large number of different market based systems. I have been involved in the market committee to design and develop the Electronic Claims File system (ECF) since the early days in 2003, when it was an off shoot of the LMP project. This has provided me with a unique knowledge of the ECF system and the underlying processes, which are underpinned by the Claims Loss Advice and Settlement System (CLASS), which is familiar to the IUA Company market.
Since 2001 I have also been a member of the Lloyd's Scheme Canada Steering Group involved in development and refinement of the system over the years. The Lloyd's Scheme Canada system, provides numerous savings and efficiencies for processing binder claims in Canada and having. It has also been developed to provide savings to syndicates with respect to premium processing.
